Neurodevelopmental yoga is a practice built on breathing, balance and controlled movement that aims to support body awareness and movement quality.
The movements progress slowly and gradually; they are always adapted to the person's level. The priority is not performance or flexibility, but a safe and balanced work with the body.
Areas it aims to support:
Accompanied by a physiotherapist, breathing work together with balance and posture exercises are arranged according to the person's needs. An option is offered for each movement, and the person progresses at their own limit.
When a medical condition is involved, the programme is planned together with a physician's assessment. Practised regularly, it may support movement quality and general well-being.
In a free preliminary consultation (15 min) your questions are answered; if appropriate, a detailed assessment (60 min) is planned.
